Emerging GIS Analyst | Spatial Data Visualization | 12+ Years Art Direction

I transitioned from visual storytelling to GIS, translating complex ideas into clear visuals for brands like PwC, Intel, and JP Morgan Chase. As a brand design lead at Forescout Technologies, I realized the next problem was spatial data visualization. It takes dense information and makes it legible, telling stories of neighborhoods, watersheds, or growth patterns. I’m completing the Enterprise GIS Professional Certificate at Bootcamp GIS, building real analytical projects instead of just studying theory.

I’m learning ArcGIS Pro and ArcGIS Online, including attribute joins, ModelBuilder workflows, Python-based field calculations, and graduated symbology. My first capstone project was a four-scenario infill capacity analysis for a Virginia county, delivered as an interactive ArcGIS Online web map. I combine GIS’s analytical rigor with design instincts to make analysis readable to stakeholders. I’ve managed cross-functional teams and translated technical work for non-technical stakeholders, skills GIS analysts need when maps convince planning boards, not just GIS departments.

the Story (so far…)

A creative journey shaped by industries, ideas, and the pursuit of meaningful design.

I’m a creative lead and art director who’s spent my career turning complex ideas into bold, cohesive brand experiences. From cybersecurity to hospitality, pharma to entertainment, I’ve worked inside marketing teams, ad agencies, and design studios, building digital campaigns, environmental installations, and brand systems for clients like Intel, Marriott, Adidas, PwC, Canon, HBO, Forescout, and Oracle.

My skill set is broad by design: web, print, OOH, experiential, collateral, UI/UX, animation, and beyond. I’m as comfortable refining the details as I am steering the big picture, leading projects from first concept through flawless launch. Collaboration is at the heart of my process whether brainstorming with a copywriter, partnering with developers, or guiding a cross-functional team across the globe.

Originally from the Bay Area, I’ve lived and worked in Los Angeles and New York, and now call Bozeman, MT home along with Boogie, my extremely enthusiastic and exceedingly smart and sweet black lab. Wherever I’m based, I’m driven by the same goal: to create work that moves people, builds brands, and makes a lasting impression.
